A convenience fee applies for online payments:
E-check fee is $0.75 per transaction.
Credit card fee is $2.35% of the tax amount paid.  (minimum fee is $1.49)

NOTE: Convenience fees go to the online payment vendor. Washington County does not receive any portion of these fees.

Online Payment of Property Taxes

Late or partial payments will first be applied to the penalty and interest, if applicable, and then to the base tax.   Taxes will be paid in inverse order and will be applied to current year taxes first.   If you would like to pay the delinquent taxes prior to the current year taxes, contact our office by calling 651-430-6175 to provide other instructions.

NOTE:  The following convenience fees are charged and collected by our payment vendor Worldpay.  

  • eCheck fee is $0.75 per transaction
  • Credit & Debit Card fee is 2.35% of the amount paid.  We accept Discover, MasterCard, American Express and Visa.
