To obtain property tax information or pay online, search by one of the following methods:

  • Parcel ID Number (Example: 11.022.33.44.0001) Can be obtained from your tax statement or other notices.
  • Property Address:  House Number (Example: 1234)  or  Street Name (4th;  not 4th Street or 4th Avenue)

Please read the following security update message if you are making an online payment of your property taxes from this website.  

Security Certificate (SHA-2) and Cipher Suites (TLS) security updates were deployed by our payment processor to this tax payment website on Sunday August 7, 2016.

There is a chance some customers accessing the site to make payments may experience an issue if you do not have an up to date web browser. If you are using an older version of a web browser you may be required to download additional updates along with enabling these features in your browser.

If you have current versions of Chrome, FireFox, or Safari installed the features will be enabled by default. If you are keeping up with the windows updates and running Internet Explorer 10, 11, or using Microsoft Edge  the enhanced features are likely enabled. If you are using an older version of any of these web browsers you may be required to download additional windows updates along with enabling these features in your browser.

Sign up to receive a payment reminder notice to your email or phone by visiting our county website www.co.washington.mn.us and selecting the green tab labeled Notify Me to subscribe with your email address and/or phone number.  Tax payment reminder notices are sent to subscribers on May 1st and October 1st.  There are also many other county notices and newsletters you may elect to receive.

Each year, the Post Office returns mailings to us because we have an old or inaccurate address on file for that taxpayer.   You can help us avoid this by verifying your mailing address and notifying us if a change is needed.  

For questions, or to update your mailing address, call us at 651-430-6175, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST or email us at taxes@co.washington.mn.us.   You can also select the Change of Address tab located on the following webpages.
